Work Setting:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
  • Help with cooking tasks such as boiling, frying, grilling, or baking under the supervision of chefs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
  • Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas to adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Assist with stocking and managing inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Follow recipes and instructions from chefs to ensure consistent food quality.
  • Aid in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations and food service areas.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in managing food waste and ensuring proper disposal practices.

Additional Tasks:

  • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Portion and wrap food items.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits.

Qualifications:
