The Construction Painter is tasked with preparing, painting, and finishing surfaces for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Work Setting:
- On-site work is required; remote options are not available.
- Work may be performed in various outdoor locations and at heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and patching as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, stain, and other finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Select suitable paint types, colors, and finishes according to project specifications and customer preferences.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations when handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
- Measure and cut materials for masking and trim applications.
- Ensure all painting work meets quality standards and fulfills customer expectations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Clean up job sites after painting is completed, including removing protective coverings and disposing of waste materials properly.
Tasks:
- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
- Repair cracks and holes.
- Mix paint to achieve the desired color and texture.
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other materials to walls.
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces.
Experience and Specialization:
- Familiarity with equipment and machinery such as airless spray equipment, sandblasters, and various painting techniques (brush and roller painting).
- Specialization in wall coverings and wallpaper.

Qualifications:
