Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning: Develop and implement daily lesson plans that foster cognitive, social, and physical development in line with curriculum guidelines.
- Child Engagement: Create a welcoming and safe environment, building positive relationships with each child.
- Supervision: Oversee children during playtime and group activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Progress Monitoring: Track children’s development and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
- Social Interaction: Encourage positive interactions among children to develop communication and teamwork skills.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring supplies are available.
- Collaboration: Work with other staff to create a supportive environment for children and families.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and daycare policies.
Additional Tasks:
- Care for infants and toddlers (bathing, diapering, feeding).

- Discuss progress during staff meetings and collaborate with community service providers.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred; relevant certification may be acceptable.
- Experience: Prior experience in daycare or educational settings is essential.
- Skills: Knowledge of child development, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification is a plus; membership with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) preferred.
