Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Plan and coordinate daily farming activities, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and livestock care.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise farm workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Crop and Livestock Production: Monitor the health and productivity of crops and livestock, implementing best practices for growth and sustainability.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and analyze financial performance to maximize profitability.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance and repair of farm machinery and equipment for operational efficiency and safety.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to agricultural regulations, environmental policies, and safety standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of crop yields, livestock production, sales, and financial transactions for accurate reporting.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and agricultural innovations to make informed production and sales decisions.
Tasks

- Manage feed inventory and overall farm operations.
- Maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings.
- Purchase machinery, livestock, seeds, feed, and other supplies.
- Perform general farm duties and maintain financial and production records.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, business management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Significant experience in farming or agricultural management is essential.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities; knowledge of agricultural practices and technologies; financial acumen.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Supervision
- Manage a team of 5-10 people.
