Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and projects.
  • Load and unload construction materials and equipment.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and ensuring tools are in order.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
  • Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials as directed.
  • Support the installation of structures, fixtures, and systems as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate smooth workflow.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor.

Tasks:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Address chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Tend to machines or equipment used in construction.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in construction or related fields is a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction equipment.
