Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the home’s cleanliness, tidiness, and organization.
- Ensure property security by locking doors and windows, monitoring alarms, and reporting suspicious activity.
- Water plants and care for gardens to keep them looking their best.
- Provide pet care, including feeding, walking, and companionship.
- Collect mail and packages, managing deliveries to prevent clutter and theft.
- Monitor utilities and appliances, reporting any issues to homeowners.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners, offering updates as needed.
- Follow homeowners’ specific instructions for household tasks or routines.
Tasks:
- Shop for food and household supplies.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Launder clothing and household linens.
- Assist with regular exercise, such as walking.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience as a housesitter or in a similar role.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic knowledge of home maintenance and gardening is a plus.
- Comfortable caring for pets if applicable.
- Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
