Work Setting:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Post job openings across various platforms, including job boards, social media, and the company website.
  • Screen resumes and applications to shortlist candidates for interviews.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential hires.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees by preparing orientation materials and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date staffing records and databases.
  • Monitor staffing levels and make recommendations for necessary adjustments.
  • Work with the HR team to implement and enhance recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Support the organization of job fairs and recruitment events.

Tasks:

  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements.
  • Collect and screen applicants.
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms of employment.
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
  • Coordinate and participate in selection boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Determine eligibility for entitlements and arrange staff training.
  • Recruit and hire staff.

Experience and Specialization:

  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
