Position: Live-In Nanny
Location: Regina, SK
Salary: $15.00 to $23.00 hourly (negotiable) / 10 to 40 hours per week
Work Schedule: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning
Start Date: As soon as possible

Overview
Languages Required: English (Hindi and Gujarati are assets)
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Environment:

  • Non-smoking
  • Work in employer’s/client’s home

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide loving care for children, including infants, toddlers, and school-aged kids.
  • Create and implement engaging activities to promote learning and creativity.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for children.
  • Assist with homework and school projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, including play areas and children’s bedrooms.
  • Transport children to and from school and activities as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress and concerns.
  • Help with bedtime routines, including reading stories.
  • Monitor behavior and discipline according to family guidelines.
  • Assist with light household tasks related to the children, such as laundry and cleaning.

Tasks Include:

  • Changing diapers and assisting with toilet training.
  • Sterilizing bottles and preparing formulas.
  • Assuming full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence.
  • Performing light housekeeping and shopping for food supplies.
  • Traveling with the family on trips to assist with child supervision.
  • Keeping records of daily activities and health information for children.
  • Organizing games and outings.
  • Teaching art techniques and dance methods to children.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a nanny or childcare worker is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Reliable, responsible, and committed to the family.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required.

Working Conditions:

  • Live-in arrangement with private accommodations provided.
  • May require occasional travel with the family.
