Key Responsibilities
- Crop Harvesting: Assist in the timely harvesting of fruits, vegetables, and grains using both manual and mechanical methods as necessary.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain harvesting equipment, ensuring safety and proper functioning.
- Quality Control: Inspect harvested crops for quality, reporting any issues to ensure only the best produce is collected for market.
- Sorting and Packing: Sort, clean, and pack harvested crops for storage or transportation, adhering to quality and safety guidelines.
- Field Maintenance: Assist with tasks such as irrigation, weeding, and pest control to promote optimal crop growth.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of harvested quantities, labor hours, and any issues encountered during harvesting.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other farm workers and management to coordinate harvesting activities for efficiency.
