Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
- Collect and dispose of trash and debris, following proper waste management practices.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment and supplies for events or projects.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as needed.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs and reporting damage or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Respond to urgent cleaning requests and special projects as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order.
Tasks Include:
- Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
- Vacuuming carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Disinfecting operating rooms and other areas.
- Cleaning and disinfecting elevators.
- Handling and reporting lost and found items.
- Providing basic information about facilities.
- Picking up debris and emptying trash containers.
- Washing windows, walls, and ceilings.
- Cleaning changing rooms and showers.
- Addressing customer complaints or concerns.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or cleaning services preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Good physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
